December 2021 Spare Parts and Meeting

This meeting on December 13 will also be our chapter's annual Christmas dinner and contest! All IPMS Richmond members and guests are welcome.

If you are planning on entering models in the contest, it would be a great help if you completed your entry form prior to arriving at the meeting. A fillable form is attached HERE. Simply save, complete, and print. Your contest committee thanks you!

November 2021 Spare Parts & Meeting

Our November meeting will include the premiere of rapid-fire Mini-Demos. Each participant will demonstrate a modeling technique, product, gadget, or tool--all within ten minutes or less!

2022 ODO Category Awards

Shown above are the category awards (first, second, and third place) for the 2022 Old Dominion Open. The medals are three inch-diameter metal in gold, silver, and bronze finishes. The finishes are so shiny that a flash could not be used to take the photo.

The "Best of" awards are currently being designed and a photo will be posted when they are complete.

So... the ODO is a little over five months away. Get busy finishing all those COVID builds and let's have a great turnout on February 26!

2022 ODO Brochure is NOW AVAILABLE

The brochure for our February 26, 2022 Old Dominion Open is now available online. You can access it through the tab above or by CLICKING HERE.

Further information will be posted soon along with reminders for attendees and contest entrants.

Due to the anticipated increase of  models in the contest, please be aware that we are LIMITING the number of contest entries per modeler to TWELVE with no more that THREE per category.

We will also be limiting the space allocated for onsite completion of your entry forms, so please complete your forms before coming to the show. The entry forms in the brochure can be downloaded to your PC, printed, and saved.
