If you are looking for a project for the 2018 ODO, may we suggest the new Photo In Time category. 

Find a picture of a subject you like, and recreate it for your entry.  You may use any source and any subject  for your model within our standard rules. Just bring in a photo copy or printout of the historical subject  to display with your model.
